Wow! So, my site has been up and published for a few days now, and there are a lot more views than I thought (though it's probably just my friends that I sent the link to) Soooo, I wanted to keep updating the site (even though it was just a class project). So my new book I'm talking about today is the Snowmelt River by Frank Ryan. It's the first book in The Three Powers series, and it's really big. This book is a brick, and I mean it. At over 700 pages, it's about the size of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. (to be exact, it has 702, while Deathly Hallows has 759). Okay, so maybe J. K. Rowling won the bigger book contest, but still. The book looks pretty good- it's about 4 teenage orphans who climb a giant mountain and end up in another dimension. I'm hoping it has some Celtic mythology in it (since it takes place in Ireland), but I don't know. *fingers crossed* So, that's that. Topic #2: It's May!! And The Heir by Kiera Cass and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas come out on MAY FIFTH which is only three days away!!!! I'm so excited- ACOTAR looks amazing, and the Heir is the fourth Selection book in the 5-book series. Hopefully we don'y have to wait as long for book 5 as we did for the Heir. The One, book three, came out May 6th, 2014, though it seemed like we waited a lot longer. Oh, well. So that's my book news for taday, but I'll be back on the 5th to rant about how the books are finally out, and update you on some more new releases. But until then, Happy Reading! -Jamie :)

Author: JamieJamie is probably reading something now, and it will be a different something in an hour or so. But that's just how she works... unless she's writing. Sometimes writing your own book and reading another isn't very easy. Jamie is 17 and a senior in high school. Author: JasJasmine is attempting to catch up with Jamie's super-speed reading pace, while balancing that (somehow) with a crazy-busy music-based schedule. She's 17 and a senior at an arts-based high school.
